Audit approach

Accessibility audit is conducted in three stages:

  1. Set of criteria: the choice of reference and the level of accessibility criteria is done in consultation between Ideose and owner of the website (international recommendations WCAG , UWEM , RGAA , AccessiWeb Repository ).
  2. Sampling: Following the analysis of the website (web page templates and key scenarios), a selection of web pages is representative of the site proposed by ideose.
  3. Rating: accessibility of Web pages is then evaluated by an expert in accessibility and disabled by a user.

Audit Report

The audit report consists of three documents:

  1. Summary: key points of accessibility and inaccessibility are presented in a non-technical. A consequence analysis is prepared and a list of proposals.
  2. List of non-compliance: an array of non-conformities is proposed to correct. This is a very operational document allowing the crew to have a checklist when correcting.
  3. Detailed analysis: a very detailed technical paper presents the results page for each evaluation criterion by criterion. Of the proposed corrections are also shown.

The audit report is emailed in Word and html. A presentation meeting is organized on request.
