AnySurfer label (Belgium)
AnySurfer is a quality label for websites.
It validates the accessibility of a website to a larger number of people, including people with disabilities.
The difficulties of the visually impaired, blind and elderly are most often addressed in the guidelines, but it is important to note that AnySurfer also considers the user accessibility to disabled and deaf and hard of hearing. |
Label See it Right (United Kingdom)
See it Right is a label issued by the UK RNIB and verifying compliance with the accessibility of a website. |
Label drempelvrij (Netherlands)
The quality mark is issued by the drempelvrij Bartimeus association that has been certified to inspect the accessibility of websites. |
AccessiWeb label (France)
The label AccessiWeb is a contractual service offered by the BrailleNet.
It is to assess the compliance of a web site to the repository using a methodology described AccessiWeb online.
If the assessment does not detect non-compliance, the label is issued for two years with monitoring visits and complaint channel allowing any user to report an error on the website accessibility. |

Social Accessibility Project
This social network allows you to correct errors online accessibility of any web page without touching the code of the original Web page.
The principle is this: those "corrective" log into their account "Social Accessibility Project", they surf the Web through their account, then they add accessibility metadata (eg tags for paragraph headings .. .) on pages with accessibility errors.
Thus, any person that will access a page tagged via his account "Social Accessibility Project" actually accedes to the corrected page, not the original page.
It should be noted that a system of information gathering allows visually impaired people to alert the group of correcting accessibility problems encountered on the web so they can intervene. |
Helena Library
Any reader visually impaired, with a braille IRIS and / or a USB stick security (eToken) provided by the BrailleNet can register for free and borrow digital books using a procedure online.
The library is based on a secure Internet server, the Server Helena.
The titles in the library are subject to an agreement with publishers. |
Digital Library for Disabled Persons (BnH)
The objective of the Digital Library for Disabled Persons, created by the city of Boulogne-Billancourt (near Paris) in 2005, is to allow anyone facing a disability to borrow a selection of literary works digitized.
It is the belief that digital publishing is the means of access to reading best suited to people with disabilities ( see the folder on the BnH ). |
RoboBraille
RoboBraille is a free service operated by e-mail to convert text files (different formats: txt, html, Word, pdf ...) braille, audio or other text formats.
The resulting files are returned to the sender by email (see the video RoboBraille ). |
